By prioritizing small farms and food producers within a 15 mile radius of Ypsilanti, Mi, we’ve built a local food network that prioritizes our mission of local first! Whether it be blueberries from the West side or greens grown in the city, local food is just a click away in the City Food Hub FLEX CSA.

Old City Acres was started by Alex Ball in a backyard with a  shovel and the sole purpose of increasing access to fresh local foods for folks in SE Michigan. A dream of strengthening the local food economy and increasing fresh food access has driven the farm over the last 10 year as it continues to feed the communities of Ypsilanti, Belleville, Romulus, and Ann Arbor Year Round.

Established in 2017, Country Valley Farm is a small, certified organic farm located on the north-eastern edge of Ann Arbor, Mi. Beyond being certified organic, they follow traditional regenerative agricultural practices and focus on not only growing delicious food but being good stewards of the land.

What was once three businesses is now one: Green Things Farm Collective. Ann Arbor Seed Company, Green Things Farm, and the Land Loom came together in 2020 to expand production, share the management of running a diverse farm business, and develop a model of sustainable, cooperative, and responsible farming.
